The following requirements must be met to participate in PathwayConnect: 

 

  • Reside in a country in which PathwayConnect is approved 
  • Be at least 16 years old with a high school diploma (or equivalent). Those who are 18+ are not required to have a high school diploma (or equivalent).  
  • Attend weekly gatherings groups (either online or in person) during the first three blocks of your degree program 
  • Have daily access to a computer with high-speed Internet, a webcam, and a microphone connected to a computer 
  • Be capable of succeeding in entry-level college academic work in English. Post-secondary disability accommodations may be available to those who request and qualify 
  • Complete an English Language Assessment (for non-native English speakers) 
  • Strive to live by the BYU-Idaho Honor Code 

The following are not required to participate in PathwayConnect: 

  • Application fee 
  • Standardized test scores (ACT, SAT, TOEFL, etc.) 
  • Ecclesiastical Endorsement 
  • Proof of graduation

A high school equivalent could mean several different things depending on the type of program. This could include GED, secondary school completion, home school diploma, etc. 
 
As long as you finish a high school equivalent program, you will be admitted into PathwayConnect.

If you are a PathwayConnect student, you can be enrolled at BYU-Idaho (or another university), and still be eligible for admission to PathwayConnect and vice versa. If you are currently attending High School, you cannot be concurrently enrolled.
