You can only obtain one bachelor’s degree at a time (No double majoring). However, you can keep coming back to school to get as many degrees as you would like.

General Education Requirements: If you have completed a bachelor’s degree from BYU-Idaho or another accredited institution, your general education requirements will be waived, and you would only then need to focus on the major-specific courses that are required for the new major.

If you complete a second bachelor’s degree, you must complete a minimum of 30 additional credits. You will still need to complete all degree requirements for the additional degree, even if it exceeds 30 additional credits.

Religion Requirements: If you have completed a bachelor’s degree from a CES-accredited institution, your religion requirements will be waived, and you would only then need to focus on the major-specific courses that are required for the new major. You may have financial aid implications if you are seeking more than one associate or bachelor's degree. If you are receiving federal financial aid, then a second bachelor's degree is not covered. The process you should follow is as follows:

  1. 1. Apply for your bachelor's degree
  2. 2. Submit a ticket to ES - Online Degrees stating that you would like to be readmitted to work on a second bachelor's degree.
  3. 3. Contact Pathway and Online Support to have your case sent to ES - Online Degrees to let them know that you need to be readmitted to work on your Second bachelor's degree.
  4.

If you have completed the PathwayConnect program and have matriculated to the online program, you will still be eligible for the PathwayConnect tuition for as many degrees as you would like to pursue.
