PathwayConnect instructors are BYU-Idaho employees who are hired to teach one section of the PathwayConnect courses.

Students can contact their instructor in the following ways:
  • Send a message through Canvas Inbox
  • Using their personal email (ex. Yahoo or Gmail)
  • Call or text the instructor using the phone number provided (if applicable)
  • Sign up for office hours (if applicable). Instructors sometimes have office hours available via their class portal instructor tab where students can sign up to meet with the instructor over Zoom to answer questions
  • Comment on the instructor’s Announcements
Instructors can typically be expected to respond within 24 hours except for on the instructor's weekends. Please be mindful of varying time zones.
 
Additional instructor information may be available under the ‘People’ section in the Canvas course or in the instructor’s introductory Announcement to the class.

If the student is still not able to contact their instructor after following the procedures to the right, please fill out a grievance form found in PC - Complaints.
