| You should check your Degree Planner or Degree Audit to make sure you are registering for the classes according to your degree. Both can be found in your student portal under the “Academic Planning” Tab. If you are unsure of how to use the degree planning tool, here is a video that can help you: Using the Degree Planner To register for courses, select the "Register" button or go to the registration tab in your student portal. Courses that are planned for that semester should be displayed. |

| When registration opens, you will see a ‘Register Now’ button in your portal on the homepage. The registration tool will help them plan their needed courses. Once the registration tool form has been filled out, you should expect to wait 1-3 business days to see your registration appear in your portal. If you do not know which courses to take, you can refer to the Degree Maps and Degree Audit found in your student portal. These are found on the left-hand side under “Academic Planning”. If you need to update your registration, you should use the 'edit' button located in your student portal under “Courses”. |

| If you want to register for two religion courses during a semester, you will have to wait until the first day of the semester to register for an additional religion course. Please note that the registration system will not allow registration for a second class prior to the first day of the term you will take the class. You should consider this when planning for your credit limits for scholarships or other financial aid. |

| You will take all of your religion courses through institute. You can register for institute courses here: Register for Institute If you are in the 30+ age group that needs institute courses for your degree, you will not be able to register online at this time. These students will need to work directly with their local institute director to be manually registered. It is possible to take more than 1 course at a time but you will need to coordinate with your local institute. To receive credit, all institute courses must be taken for CES credit. |

| You can choose to register for block courses when they are available. If a block course is available, it will have Block 1 and/or Block 2 listed as options in your Degree Planner when registering. 2nd block courses must be registered for during open registration for full-semester courses or by the 8th day of the semester. |
