Church-approved missionaries assigned to BYU-Pathway oversee all gathering groups associated with
PathwayConnect and EnglishConnect 3 academic courses. 
Missionaries can see students’ overall grades but not specific assignment grades or content. 
 
For Church approved missionaries assigned to BYU-Pathway should:
  1. Invites others to come unto Christ
  2. Ministers to and shepherd students
  3. Makes the gathering a sacred space
  4. Finds potential students within their community
  5. Guides students pursuing educational goals
  6. Supports other missionaries
Contacting a Missionary
You can contact your missionaries by logging into your student portal and clicking the tab “My Contacts.”
(This information will be available on the Saturday before classes begin.)

BYU-Pathway Service Missionary Requirements  
If you are interested in serving with BYU-Pathway you are encouraged to visit BYU-Pathway Worldwide or EnglishConnect websites to learn more. 
 
These are the minimum requirements for a service missionary assigned to BYU-Pathway:
  • Be temple-worth
  • Be able to serve 12 or 24 months, 10-15 hours per week
  • Be available to facilitate 1 or 2 in-person or virtual gatherings each week
  • Be comfortable with learning to communicate over video-conferencing software
  • Have a computer with access to high-speed internet with video and audio capability if serving with a virtual gathering 
In addition to the requirements listed above, a service missionary encourages students toward academic and life success and may be asked to elevate the awareness of BYU-Pathway Worldwide opportunities in some locations.
