CONTINUING ECCLESIASTICAL ENDORSEMENT HOLD: Online Option
For Continuing Ecclesiastical Endorsements, you will need to work with LDS leadership and this email needs to come directly from the priesthood leader and not from you.  In your applicant endorsement, your first interview can be with your own clergy if you desire, however that is not currently the case for continuing endorsements.
 
If your leader can work through the current system, they should do so. You should click on this link: https://www.ensign.edu/continuing-endorsement
  • Click on "online endorsement"
  • Click "Student"
  • Click "CONTINUING/CURRENTLY ENROLLED"
  • Click on the Ensign College Icon
  • Fill out the form
International students should try the online option first to fill out the Endorsement. If the online option is not available or does not work for you, you may use the paper option.
For the paper option, Ensign College requests that the Bishop mail the Endorsement to them (mailing address is included in the endorsement page: https://www.ensign.edu/continuing-endorsement ) in a sealed envelope.

 
ECCLESIASTICAL ENDORSEMENT HOLD: Paper Option
You must provide a valid Ecclesiastical Endorsement to be able to enroll. Please submit an updated endorsement using the Continuing Student Ecclesiastical Endorsement form to: registration@ensign.edu 
 
If you reside in Nepal or Pakistan whose leaders can't interact with the current endorsement system, we have been given the following information to resolve the holds for now: 
The following information needs to be provided via email:
  • Bishop or Branch President's name
  • Unit #
  • Student's name
  • ID # (this needs to be an Ensign number, found on in their portal)
If you are currently taking a certificate through Ensign College, you will need to send this to the Dean of Students, Adam Garland:
 
If your leader is having difficulty finding your endorsement request, you can provide the leader with the following information: 

2. TE-FEES (Outstanding Balance)

There is currently an outstanding balance on your Ensign College student account. This hold will be removed once your balance is paid in full. Contact the Cashier's Office for further assistance.
 
You should have no financial responsibility holds. 
 
You are still able to attend registered classes with this hold. The hold only blocks you from being able to register for new classes.

3. TE-PAYMN (Payment Plan Hold

There is currently an outstanding balance on your Ensign College student account. This hold will be removed once your balance is paid in full. Contact the Cashier's Office for further assistance.

4. SF (Suspension Follow-up Hold)

There is currently an outstanding balance on your Ensign College student account. This hold will be removed once your balance is paid in full. Contact the Cashier's Office for further assistance.

 5. AC (SUSP) Suspended

(BYU Pathway Worldwide Online) Ensign Information
You have now been placed on Academic Suspension from Ensign College. You must meet certain requirements in order to maintain your status. One of the requirements is a semester GPA of at least a 2.0. Because you have not met this requirement for two semesters, you now find yourself on Academic Suspension from Ensign College.

6. SDC (Math Placement Test)

(BYU Pathway Worldwide Online) Ensign Information
You do not have a valid Math placement score, math transfer credit, or test on file. Please contact the Student Success Center. This hold will be removed once your math test has been completed and processed.

7. Old Holds

(BYU Pathway Worldwide Online) Ensign Information
ENR-PLCMNT: Math Placement Test
 
You must have a valid placement test. Please contact the testing center to schedule a time to take the placement test to have this hold removed. Testing Services
 
AC-ACST: Suspended
 
You must meet certain requirements in order to maintain your status, one of the requirements is a semester GPA of at least a 2.0. Because you have not met this requirement for two semesters you now find yourself on Academic Suspension from Ensign College. Please contact the Student Development Office if you have additional questions.
